Litigation

Ms. Starck’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, with emphasis on patent infringement suits arising under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA).

Ms. Starck has experience assisting in the representation of clients in proceedings before U.S. District Courts, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigation work and pleadings practice, fact and expert discovery, dispositive motion practice, and the pretrial, trial, and appellate phases of federal litigation.

Ms. Starck has experience representing clients in matters spanning a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, computer software, LEDs, footwear technology, submersible vehicles, and product dispensers.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP as an associate, Ms. Starck was an associate in the patent litigation group at Brinks Gilson & Lione and Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff.
