Ms. Yao’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, with emphasis on patent infringement suits arising under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA).
Ms. Yao has experience assisting in the representation of clients in federal court proceedings including pre-suit investigation work and pleadings practice, fact and expert discovery, and dispositive motion practice. Ms. Yao has experience representing clients in matters across a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceutical formulations, medical devices, biotechnology, and agricultural technology.
