For more than a decade, Mr. Duff has been litigating patent and other intellectual property cases for his clients.
In addition to his extensive experience in patent litigation, he has, for example, represented clients in copyright infringement matters and trade secret misappropriation disputes.
Additionally, Mr. Duff works with clients in preparing freedom to operate opinions, including opinions of patent non-infringement and invalidity. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has prepared and prosecuted patent applications and applications for trademark registration.
Complex Commercial Litigation
Mr. Duff has significant experience in other types of complex litigation. He has represented large and small corporations in a variety of commercial matters, ranging from product liability to fraud suits.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining RMMS, Mr. Duff was an associate at Ice Miller LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP. Before that, Mr. Duff served as a law clerk to the Honorable John Paul Godich, United States Chief Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Indiana.
