Litigation
Ms. Morris’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent infringement suits arising under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, and the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA).
Ms. Morris has experience with respect to a wide range of life sciences technologies, including biosimilars, therapeutic antibodies, pharmaceutical formulations, and manufacturing processes. Ms. Morris also has experience with Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, including interferences and inter partes review, patent portfolio management, pre-litigation strategy, and policy and legislative advice.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP as Counsel, Ms. Morris was a Senior Associate at Gemini Law LLP, specializing in intellectual property strategy and litigation for clients in the biopharmaceutical space. Ms. Morris has also practiced as an in-house government lawyer for AUSTRAC, an Australian regulatory agency, where she advised and counselled internal clients across a broad range of issues, including interpreting legislation, policy guidance, trademark and copyright issues, and litigation. Ms. Morris is dual-qualified and admitted in both the United States (NY) and Australia (NSW).
